Last year, people rappelled down a 60-foot building to raise money for United Way. This year, the building is taller.
United Way of Northern New York Executive Director Bob Gorman explained on 7 News This Morning that the building people went “Over the Edge” on last year was the Key Bank building in downtown Watertown.
This year, the June 17 descent will be down Midtown Towers on Mechanic Street.

The entry fee is $25, but participants have to raise at least $1,000 in pledges.
Last year, the event raised about $26,000.
